Position Description

Join our team as a volunteer Music DJ! We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to lead weekly dance on Friday’s at 11:00am for our clients with disabilities. As a Music DJ, you will have the opportunity to share your expertise in music selection and DJing to create an enjoyable and engaging experience for participants.

Calgary Progressive Lifestyles Foundation (CPLF) is a charitable organization supporting people with disabilities at work, at home, and in the community. Since our establishment in 1989, we’ve been committed to creating an inclusive community where individuals with disabilities achieve independence, fulfillment, and autonomy.

Duties and Responsibilities

This role involves demonstrating patience and understanding in the following duties:

Selecting and playing music suitable for the session’s atmosphere and participants’ preferences
Engaging participants through music and encouraging participation in related activities
Ensuring a positive and inclusive environment for all participants to enjoy music together

Job Requirements

Experience as a Music DJ
Fluent in English
Ability to commute to Rotary Challenger Park – Field House, Calgary
