Residential

Offering full-time or part-time support in our individuals homes. Support can begin with finding our clients new homes for providing support in existing homes. Support staff can live with the individual or visit them.

Counselling for supported individuals in the comfort of their home or in a neutral location such as our offices.

Calgary Progressive Lifestyles Foundation (CPLF) is seeking (female) Support Staff for a Female Client with a developmental disability

Days and Hours: Friday and Saturday Nights, 6:00 pm – 2:30 am (latest)

Rate of Pay: Approx: $20.60/hour

We are looking for an energetic, fun and patient female worker. We need a support staff with and open mind and Staff must be equipped with a their own transportation and class 5 license as you are required to drive the individuals accessible vehicle to evening social activities. Support staff must have excellent modelling for appropriate social behavior, emotional regulation & coping skills. Staff must be comfortable with taking a vulnerable client out in the community at night to a variety of different establishments including taverns and pubs. This client is looking for someone to be a supportive friend around her age (she is in her 30’s) This client requires someone with great personal relationship skills and rapport building, as she does not trust easily and responds well to people she can relate to. Staff must have the physical strength to be able to reposition client in her wheelchair multiple times a shift to prevent pain to client.

Basic requirements for employment: Police Clearance, resume, 3 written References, and driver’s abstract, class 5 license, physical strength to life client.
